In the Netherlands, Novartis Oncology is headquartered in Arnhem and approximately 50 persons are employed in this special business unit of Novartis Pharma.

In 2005 Novartis Oncology started the special Novanurses^® service. After registration, special educated nurses visit the patients monthly at home to give them their injections with Sandostatine LAR or Zometa.
